Service Description
The Basic First Aid - 1 Day Course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills needed to respond to a variety of emergency situations. This course covers topics such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), as well as the management of choking, bleeding, shock, and other medical emergencies. Participants will also learn about legal and ethical considerations, workplace safety, and the importance of communication during emergency situations. Course Objectives: Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to recognize and respond to various emergency situations, perform CPR and use an AED on an adult victim, manage choking, bleeding, shock, and other common medical emergencies, understand the legal and ethical considerations of providing first aid, and develop an emergency plan for their workplace. The Basic First Aid - 1 Day Course provides participants with practical, hands-on training and a course manual to help reinforce the knowledge and skills they have learned during the course. This course is ideal for anyone who wants to be prepared to handle emergency situations in the workplace or in their personal life. It is suitable for individuals who require emergency first aid certification for employment or personal reasons, such as healthcare professionals, first responders, and workplace safety personnel. Participants who successfully complete the course will receive an Emergency First Aid certification card, valid for three years.
